General principles
Art. 1: All professional activities of the Pétillances team are based on unconditional respect for the individual, without distinction as to sex, social condition, political, philosophical or religious opinions, or cultural or racial background. Our professionals are committed to this in the exercise of their profession, whatever their own convictions.
Art. 2: The agreement of the customer and the beneficiary is required for any investigation prior to the action and for any intervention.
Art. 3: Our professionals do not make value judgements about the individuals, groups or communities that require their services, work with them to find ways of meeting their needs and respect their free choice.
Art. 4: Our professionals have a duty to respect professional secrecy and the confidentiality of personal data in accordance with the rules of the GDPR.
Art. 5 : For all training materials, publications or studies which would like to use the experience of training and/or individual coaching at Pétillances as an illustration or example, the author who is a member of our team must obtain the authorisation of the persons concerned and ensure that they, and where applicable the company which employs them, cannot be identified.
Art. 6: Our professionals do not accept any task, paid or unpaid, that could damage the reputation, independence or fundamental and ethical principles of the company.
Art. 7 : Our professionals respect intellectual property, citing the sources of tools, techniques, quotations and other resources used in their services and claiming ownership only of original resources.
Art. 8 : The attitude of each of our professionals towards their colleagues is based on collaboration, solidarity and mutual professional assistance.
Art. 9: This attitude of mutual professional assistance does not relieve our professionals of any of their obligations towards the client.
Art. 10 : Our professionals are committed to promoting Pétillances' activities.
Art. 11 : Pétillances is committed to enabling its employees to increase their technical knowledge and professional skills.
Art. 12 : Pétillances is committed to ensuring well-being and a good working environment and provides supervision and psychosocial support for its employees.
Art. 13 : Pétillances and its team, like all citizens, must respect the laws and regulations.
Commitment to beneficiaries
Information
Art. 14: Our professionals inform beneficiaries as objectively and fully as possible about the intervention: objectives, methods, contributions, reports and notes.
Respect and confidentiality
Art. 15: Our professionals respect the appropriate level of confidentiality agreed at the start of the relationship: no information may be divulged without the express agreement of the beneficiary.
Art. 16: Any report on the beneficiary's support is sent to the sponsor by and with the agreement of the beneficiary, with the possibility of a tripartite agreement (sponsor - beneficiary - Pétillances).
Art. 17: Our professionals are committed to respecting the religious, philosophical and political opinions of customers and service recipients.

Clarity of mission
Art. 18 : Our professionals ensure that the client's expectations are correctly identified and that our proposals meet them in the client's best interests.
Art. 19: Our professionals undertake to accept only clearly defined assignments, in accordance with legislation and ethics, and within the limits of their level of competence.
Art. 20: Our professionals remain within the limits of their role, without taking over the customer's responsibility for decision-making.
Art. 21: All assignments are subject to a written contract setting out the nature and objectives of the assignment, the methodology, the fees, the method of payment and the timetable.
Fees
Art. 22 : Fees are specified and fixed in writing before the start of the assignment.
Art. 23: The fees accurately reflect the quantity and quality of the services provided. Any service outside the scope of the contract must be agreed with the customer beforehand and will give rise to additional invoicing.
Professional secrecy
Art. 24: All information exchanged during the course of the assignment is protected by professional secrecy in compliance with the law and the rules of the GDPR.
Art. 25: No information may be passed on to third parties without the prior agreement of the customer and/or beneficiary.

Art. 26: Our professionals give precise details of their qualifications, expertise, experience, training, diplomas and certificates.
Art. 27 : Our professionals only use tools, methods and techniques that have been tested, validated and offer maximum guarantees of objectivity and effectiveness. Art. 28 : Our professionals have all the training, experience and moral qualities required to carry out their mission.
Art. 29: Our professionals do not unlawfully discriminate in their professional activities on the grounds of age, race, gender, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, religion, disability or handicap.
Art. 30: Our professionals are alert to any existing or potential conflict of interest. They shall openly disclose any such conflict and offer to withdraw if it arises.
Art. 31: Our professionals continue to train and develop their professional skills on an ongoing basis.
Commitment to individual support and psychosocial permanence (PEPS)
Art. 32: Each coach, therapist or psychologist is responsible for his or her files and notes and, in compliance with the GDPR, undertakes to maintain, store and destroy all files, including electronic files and communications created in the course of his or her coaching assignments, in a manner that promotes confidentiality, security and privacy.
Art. 33: The information required for teamwork to function properly - and in the interests of the individual - is left to the discretion of the professional. In order to help the client effectively, the professional may communicate the necessary information to the other services involved, after informing the client in advance.
Art. 34: In the event that information is passed on, it concerns facts and not confidences. Only information that is essential and in the interests of the person receiving support will be communicated, on the express condition that the client and the beneficiary have given their approval.
Art. 35: The obligation of confidentiality may not be deemed to have been extinguished by the mere consent of the client.
Art. 36: The coach may only waive professional secrecy if the interests or safety of the client or third parties are at risk.
Art. 37: Our professionals identify personal experiences that could influence, generate conflict or interfere with their professional practice and seek relevant professional assistance in order to determine the necessary measures to be put in place.
Art. 38: Our professionals act with an awareness of the consequences of their actions on the lives of the people they support.
Art. 39: Our professionals are committed to discretion in all circumstances. They scrupulously respect professional secrecy and ensure that it is respected.
Art. 40: It is up to each of our professionals to find, under their own responsibility, the means appropriate to the aim pursued.
Art. 41: This technical independence requires, in return, the necessary professional qualifications and compliance with this code and the code of training: psychologist, social worker, life coach, etc.
Art. 42: At all times during their careers, our professionals are committed to increasing their technical knowledge and updating their training and information.
Art. 43: Our professionals cooperate with their peers whenever the interests of the client so require and insofar as professional secrecy permits.
Art. 44 : Our professionals inform the Pétillances team of their work, within the limits of the ethics of their profession. It is up to them to organise their time according to the requirements of their work and within the limits set by the work contract and the contract signed by the client.
Art. 45: Our professionals undertake to use only the techniques for which they are qualified.
Art. 46: The general attitude of our professionals must be such as to inspire confidence in those who use their skills and services.
Art. 47: Our professionals give precedence to the interests and wishes of the people for whom they are called upon to provide professional services.
Art. 48: Whether the request for support is private or comes from the client/employer, professionals will only work with the prior consent of the person(s) targeted by the support. Through a needs analysis and a written proposal, our professionals will determine the objectives and will only begin their intervention with the consent of all parties.
Art. 49: Our professionals may not express their feelings or opinions with regard to individuals or groups using their services. If necessary, they must refuse to provide support for which they feel unable to act with the required objectivity and serenity.
Art. 50: If decisions to be taken as a team give rise to a conflict of ideas involving technical, administrative or political choices, our professionals must always focus on helping people and promoting their rights.
