Managing interpersonal relations more effectively
Description
It's not always easy to accommodate your interlocutor's preferences when they differ from yours. Between misunderstanding and tension, differences in preferences complicate interpersonal relationships and reduce collective effectiveness. It also happens that working with people who have similar preferences can be a trap, as it may lead to a rigidification of thinking or operational methods.
Objectives
- Link irritants in others to one's own non-preference zones
- Recognize other forms of these factors (opposite, excess, allergy) according to the Ofmann model
- Have cues to identify the preference expressed by one's interlocutor in a given context (without definitively attributing this preference to them)
- Assert preferences towards other individuals with different preferences
- Identify moments of stress where non-preference takes control and leads to excessive behavior
- Develop relational flexibility by consciously and voluntarily expressing one's non-preference
Duration
- 1 day (7 hours)
