Conflict management : Anticipating conflicts and turning them into opportunities
Description
Every human relationship, whether personal or professional, leads to disagreements. In our modern and hyper-connected world, we communicate quickly without always taking the time to weigh our words, without considering our own needs and those of our interlocutor. This negligence leads to internal/external tensions that escalate into conflicts if not addressed. This training will enable participants to take the necessary time to analyze the various elements that can lead to conflict, to establish new habits of presence (towards oneself and others), and communication in order to prevent conflicts.
Objectives
- Identify behavioral reactions to potentially conflictual situations
- Develop the assertiveness necessary to address issues
- Decode and apply a calm and soothing non-verbal language
- Consider one's own needs, expectations, and perceptions as well as those of others involved
- Understand the cultural, educational, gender, and background components influencing conflict management
- Formulate requests that are acceptable and receivable by the other party
- Promote kindness and cultivate empathy in the workplace
